IPGSN People - Oludele Akintunde
Oludele holds a first class (honours) baccalaureate degree in Electrical/Electronics EngineOludele Akintundeering from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is presently a Masters student in Engineering management and development at the North-West University, Vanderbijlpark, South Africa.

Dele’s vision, since discovering his gifts and potentials, has been to be a man of higher learning with an indelible footprint on the sand of time through immense contribution to knowledge, technological and economic development of his country, Nigeria. This he wishes to pursue even to a professorial level.

A recipient of several awards and scholarships, Oludele has been a luminary since childhood. He emerged the overall best ND student, school of engineering, Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State of Nigeria in 1995 and also the best candidate (with distinction) in ‘Digital Techniques for Engineers’, a course organized by the state-owned Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) at the TV college, Jos, Nigeria in February 2003. Oludele also won the Federal government scholarship award for undergraduates as well as the AG leventis (Egba) scholarship award.

Oludele is also currently training at a South African coal, oil, gas and petrochemical company, Sasol, on the novel Gas-To-Liquid (GTL) Technology, being part of a project embarked upon by Chevron Nigeria Ltd. This project whose major deliverable is a GTL plant in Escravos, Nigeria is expected to produce liquid fuels (diesel, petrol etc) from Natural Gas.

Before his departure to South Africa, Oludele had a four-year stint with Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), where he applied the cognitive skills he acquired in school pragmatically to deliver news, sports and other programmes content via radio and satellite communication links to the Nigerian audience and beyond.

Oludele's skills and competencies include project management, systems engineering, computer skills, networking skills, problem-solving skills, conflict resolution skills, leadership skills, etc.

Oludele is a member of IEEE.
